From Lake Constance (400 m above sea level) the wooded Schienerberg rises over meadows and fields to 700 m above sea level, on its northern side with many deep valleys, to the south with sun terraces and all around with magnificent views of the Hegau, the Bodanrück, the island of Reichenau and over neighboring Switzerland to the snow-capped peaks of the Alps.
