If you are coming to the area for Christmas markets, then highly suggest this great hotel perfect location There is public parking just a short walk away, but make sure you go the right way because we actually walked around the block versus basically a Professional, friendly, and helpful front desk, staff Clean room that has a kettle. Perfect water, pressure and hot water in the shower.

Breakfast had the best Kouglhopf of our entire stay in Alsace! Hotel clean, quiet and not far from centre or from museums. Shame most shops and restaurants were closed on Sunday

Disappointing

A nice, clean hotel but with terrible wifi / internet reception in my room. The receptionist refused to move me to another room. Very unhelpful. No empathy whatsoever. The receptionist on checkout however was the complete opposite. A young man with dark curly hair - thank you so much for listening to me. Breakfast was nice except for the rather strange textured scrambled eggs. The staff worked hard to keep the tables cleared and the food stocked. A good location 5 minutes from the railway station and the same away from the shops. Not recommended however if you wish to stay in contact with your family and friends, or get some work done.

There was a number of restaurants nearby. Air conditioning is not really functional. Rooms were clean, but old. Prices for a property of that location were on the higher side. Finding the hotel was a unique challenge. It took 3-4 trips around the block to get to the hotel. The staff were quite nice and very accommodating. Warning - there is public on street parking which is free overnight. That said - be aware that when we were there it was very noisy. We needed to leave the windows open to cool the room as the A/c was barely working.

I chose to return to this hotel as I so enjoyed it the previous week and as it had a restaurant “Au Bureau” at the end of the road and I wasn’t disappointed. friendly check in, nice room (with - yippee- bath tub. comfy bed, nice view from 3rd floor with shutters and opening window. recently redecorated and very smart. enjoyed ribs and excellent local riesling at Au B followed by good night’s sleep. train leaving at 07.10 meant I couldn’t have breakfast but, the hotel being only a few hundred yards from the main train station, meant that I didn’t have to leave until ten minutes before- once again recommend for quality, condition, location and nearby restaurants

Very bad

Very bad experience. I did not get the room i booked and was not offered any kind of compensation. Not even a free breakfast. Noise insulation to this hotel is an unknown word. On the check out on 01/31, the front desk was unpolite and needs to change job.

Spacious and comfortable in a good situation with easy access to city centre and a pleasant breakfast area. I was not impressed by the shower unit, which had a faulty shower nozzle which made it difficult to have a relaxing shower after a long journey.
