Casa Alondra Hotel is located in the historic downtown center, which initially made it an appealing choice. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room itself was very pretty, but it had a strong musty smell that made it uncomfortable. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and loud music from a neighboring club/bar made it difficult to rest. The staff was friendly upon arrival, but that changed during the stay. Two staff members avoided interaction, and I had to approach them myself to request assistance, which did not feel welcoming. The courtyard was very plain and not decorated for the holidays, which was disappointing given the hotel’s setting and expectations. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and I would not return to this hotel.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in in Morelia. A beautiful, comfortable room that was very soundproof (and the large soaking tub was especially nice. The restaurant is excellent, location is great- everything about it put it far above everywhere else I’ve stayed in Morelia. I will definitely be staying there again in the future!

The staff for helpful, but we did have a few problems with the room. They were eager to help, but had some limitations on moving us to a different room. They were very generous and listened to our feedback. It was overall a very good experience.

Very stylish. We were in room 5 with a lower ceiling, it was cozy. The copper tub is very elegant. The staff were delightful, the right blend of friendly and attentive.

This hotel is stunning! The entrance and lobby is beautiful with the water fountain placed in the middle. We were greeted with welcome drinks. Our room was even more beautiful! The bed is big, clean and incredibly comfortable. The bath tub was an added bonus and a great way to end the day after exploring Morelia! Close to the centro histórico too! Walking distance.

We stayed for the weekend for a family reunion and it was the perfect place close to the historical downtown, where we could walk to the colonial area with plenty of options for shopping, dining and landmarks. the room cozy and catalog picture perfect and very comfortable and quiet. and outside the room you have the interior garden with a fountain and the restaurant bar which is also very quiet and with excellent service. I loved this place. Staff has excellent customer service.
