Set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth and Alnwick, West Thirston is a delightful village. One mile from Alnwick's famous Garden featuring Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden, and an ornamental walled garden, is the village of Alnwick with its shop, pub and restaurant. Hogwarts School was filmed at the castle in the "Harry Potter" movies. Miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles, and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands are all available nearby Alnwick. Excellent base to explore Northumberland's Heritage Coastline.
