The room is a little tight for two people as there is only space for one person to sit down. Otherwise the room is nice, clean, with comfortable bed and nice view of the bay. The hotel has an affiliated restaurant next to it which serves great food.

Now we know why they are no more Vikings

This place was actually terrible...the walls were paper thin, the room smelled like urine and somehow the water in the shower and taps smelled like fart. The front desk was rude and not accommodating at all, I notified them prior that I would be proposing to my girlfriend before we checked in and they still tried to charge us over $100 to check in a half hour early. Oh and unless you like fermented fish and salami for breakfast it's not worth paying for. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me. On a positive note the location was great.

This hotel was one of our favorites from our stay in Iceland. We would 100% go back. The outdoor hot tub and sauna were great and the restaurant was delicious. We were happy we weren’t in downtown Reykjavík.

The hotel is old. Rooms are small. The shower leaked and it stank. Like i threw up. The location is stupid. Not close to anything and only a few tour operators pick up from there. The walls were thin and every noise could be heard. The window curtains didn’t stop the light coming in. I changed hotels and wrote off tge money.
