If you're into Viking vibes, this hotel definitely delivers a fun and themed atmosphere. However, I would honestly recommend coming here more for the restaurant than for the stay itself. The food at the restaurant is quite good and the service is friendly and attentive, which makes for a pleasant dining experience.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite dated and has a noticeable musty smell throughout. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathrooms are awkward and uncomfortable to use. The shower water contains sulfur, which is typical in Iceland, but the smell here is particularly strong and hard to ignore.
The included breakfast is very limited in terms of options, and the parking situation isn't very convenient either. Overall, come for the food and Viking atmosphere—but maybe stay somewhere else.
