We just needed a place to stay for a couple of nights close to Zion's. Was easy to find, park, clean.

simple but adequate for one night

The fact that there is no one on site to greet and show the room was strange. I think there was miscommunication - mix up in emails perhaps but we came with no current info and the office was not staffed. I called the number on the confirmation email received months ago. the person was in a town 10 miles away but was able to find our reservation and give me a code for getting into one of the rooms. The view of the Grand Escalente Staircase was beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Airconditioning was on and effective in 100 degree heat. Bathroom was tiny.

A gem from the past

A lovely family run motel that has been renovated just enough to be comfortable and still keep its travel motel charm. Beds were comfortable, check in couldn’t have been easier.

Adequate, but…

No mention for pet fee until after committed. Place was run down: patched carpet, tear/worn spot in bedspread/quilt, lumpy pillows, shower head needs replacing. Easy access location. Comfortable beds. No spare blankets and one night was cold.

the level of cleanliness is not up to what we expected. The towels were old and stained, there was a comb full of hair in a drawer. There is no reception desk, but communication was quick through Vrbo app.

I didn't realize was on main road so if sat outside had the road traffic but wasn't bad, couldn't hear it inside room even at night. found on tree the dog bags to keep clean. the room was almost too crowded with the 2 beds but understand about having max area for guest to sleep. it reminded me of when met wife with her apartment, motel rooms converted to 1 bdrm place. the air worked great quiet, beds were comfortable (like most never like home) other guest were friendly and considerate. the shower head needs some of the calcium build up cleaned off get just bit more water flow, wasn't a big deal nothing little CLR can't fix. we would stay again, was accommodating for the dog.

A few issues affecting stay

when we arrived our toilet was not working but this should have been noticed by the cleaner as there was toilet paper in the toilet. The staff did respond quickly and it did get fixe. There was not enough toilet paper in the unit but fortunately we always bring a roll with us. Black mold on ceiling by TV. Unit could use more light especially near the table. We were grateful for the frig and the microwave as there is only one restaurant in the area and it was closed the night we arrived so we had to buy frozen burritos at the gas station (so glad the unit had a microwave!). The beds were comfortable and the unit in general was clean.

Ein kleines feines Motel mit nur 7 Zimmern kurz vor der Kreuzung zum Zion Nationalpark. Checkin über Schlüsselbox total unkompliziert. Zimmer wunderschön wie auf den Fotos mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine (es wurde eine neue geliefert weil unsere Vorgänger wohl gesagt haben die war kaputt) und ein Fön wurde uns auch sofort gebracht. Und es gab einen Tisch mit zwei Stühlen zum Frühstücken. Perfekt! Fernsehen mit Netflix und anderen Streamingdiensten, das erste Mal auf unserer Grand Circle Reise. Leider war das Zimmer nur eine Nacht frei, wir wären länger geblieben statt in ein Kettenhotel umzuziehen.
