Entering this inn is like stepping into the past. It is a truly beautiful place. Warning - there is no elevator. But the young man who checked me in was more than happy to carry my luggage up to the next floor. The real highlight of the hotel is the restaurant - the food is fabulous and the service it top notch. One of the best meals I've had in the last ten years!

I honestly can't remember the last time I had such amazing care from hotel staff. Every single person I encountered went out of their way to be helpful, kind, and friendly. The staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. The hotel manager was very welcoming. Nice touches of fresh fruit and chocolate chip cookies were found in my room. And.... a piece of chocolate on my bed at night! The hotel is beautifully furnished with a rich history.

Wonderful experience all around!

Terrific and charming Inn! We cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The restaurant is great and they have a fun piano player on the weekend.
