Before arriving I was in email contact with Joseph, the concierge whom answered every question, arranged a van from the hotel. During the trip our companion broke her wrist and was ambulance driven to the hospital where her and her husband sat in Limbo for 4 hours. I called Joseph whom explained while healthcare was good in Malta, the state run hospital was short handed and could be a full day disaster; instead he suggested a private hospital we switched to whom triaged, xrayed, diagnosed and cast her arm in 2hours total!
Joseph made a bad situation so much better.
Sunny and the breakfast staff were stellar as was the maids, grounds keepers and Amy in reception whom we purchased a very fair priced upgrade for the room. We have traveled all over the world and this property was perhaps the best we had ever been.
It wasn’t the fancy stone, spacious rooms, beautiful pools though they were certainly present; it was the people who made the difference. I will take the accounts of my experience back with me to North East Ford as the Dragonara exemplifies everything we stand for.
