didn’t stay there i was told hotel.com doesn’t release there payment and they don’t except hotel.com’s booking lost my money for nothing

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
When we got to the hotel the manager refused to let us stay, saying that he does not get enough money from the operators, and therefore I needed to cancel my booking and pay him even more privately. Which was rather stressful after a day of travelling, but out of principal we left. Expedia spoke to the manager and confirmed this, and thankfully they were very understanding and helped us with the refund.
