Very friendly and attentive host who watches over all the 20 units in this building. With a quick WhatsApp message, he was always quick to come and assist with anything we needed (more toilet paper, etc.). You will need to use Google translate (into German). Lots of space for this family of 5 (king in primary, single in 2nd bedroom, 2 flip out sofas in living room). Kitchen has limited plateware/pots/pans/tools for cooking. Location is great. Loved staying in this multicultural neighborhood because of the baklava, naan bread bake shops, kebab, etc. restaurants. Lidl Grocery store 2 blocks away.

The building and room felt like poorly repurposed refugee/migrant housing. The furniture, shower and living room curtains were nasty - like they were acquired used from a dirty frat house.

WARNING. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. This is not at all how it is described on VRBO. It is advertised as a “holiday apartment”, when in reality it is a BOARDING HOUSE. There was a broken window in the living room, mildew in the shower, stains everywhere, and the door jamb on the front door had clearly been broken before and not properly fixed. This is NOT a place worth around 300 a night. The quality is equivalent to a hostel and should cost hostel prices. STAY AWAY.

DISGUSTING

Never stayed at property …. Filthy, moldy, disgusting property with broken window…. I was never given check in information, had to rely on someone else in the building to let me in. VRBO completely unresponsive and told me “too bad”… this property should be banned!!! I am fighting to get my money back from booking agent and my credit card company….. they should be ashamed of themselves and then they had the audacity to lie and tell the booking agent I stayed there …. Good thing I have ALL MY RECEIPTS!! Scam!! Do not book!!! I cannot tell you how upsetting it was to arrive in a foreign country alone (my family was meeting me the next day) and be faced with having to locate other lodgings, while dragging my luggage around a strange city ! DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!!

great location, large place

The apartment has excellent space, our extended family could each have our own bed. The air conditioning was wonderful. The neighborhood was loud, a bit of party atmosphere. Would improve things with a new shower curtain, a new toilet seat, and washing the curtains. Would stay here again if I traveled with a larger group
