Bad and sad and we booked the best room, namely, the Junior Suite. The room does not look like in the picture. It’s extremely small. There is no sofa. There is no bathtub. The appliances are limited. We asked to be moved and they moved us to a room which had a bathtub but was even smaller. And cherry on the top, there was no water (no hot nor cold water for 3 entire days of our staying. Even after the complaints were made they did not do anything to address the issue other than just wait until we left saying that the hotel is fully booked and they can’t deal with all the requests. The breakfast is at very basic and definitely not worth the price, so it’s better to just go to the nearby bakeries. Unfortunately after the management change the quality and overall service of the Vienna House Hotel in Munich has gone down dramatically, to the point of making the entire stay uncomfortable. It’s safe to say that after 2 years of visiting this hotel, this was the end of the road. We won’t be coming again.

The property was very clean, spacious and centrally located. When we arrived, the manager told us that the room we had booked (for 4 people) was no longer available but he offered two connected rooms at no extra cost. We definitely recommend this property for its excellent service provided by the manager.

It was a little difficult to find parking. We ended up having to park on the street a couple blocks away and walk my bags to the hotel. But it was during Oktoberfest, so we expected it to be hard to find parking.

There was nobody to greet us at the main desk for the first 10 minutes so I was unsure that I made the reservation correctly. We came all the way from Canada. Our room was for a wheelchair and had no shower door so it was odd. I did find the staff very friendly. The room was nice, and clean.

Nice "boutique hotel ". Very chic, rooms.were remodeled to show the era of 1900's. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants and grocery stores

Family Stay

Great place for families, easy to get there. Unfortunately they don’t have a wait to store your bags if you arrive before your check in but they compensate with excellent facilities and service.
