Thinking of flying the coop and heading to Storstrom for a while? lastminute.co.nz offers a number of great hotel options.

The Hotel Vinhuset is one of the most conveniently situated hotels as it is one of a small number of options within an easy stroll of the Naestved downtown area.

The Scandic Ringsted is situated 25 kilometres from the middle of Naestved. Alternatively, the Comwell Sorø is located 30 kilometres away. Some other options are the Hotel Postgaarden and the Askegaarden Apartments.

Don't skedaddle before you have checked out the Maribo Art Museum and Maribo Cathedral in Maribo. Maribo hotels and accommodations include the Hotel Søpark, Maribo and Hostel Maribo Vandrerhjem. Or, you could consider staying in Stege, 45 kilometres to the southeast of Naestved, where you can choose from the Motel Stege and Kaffehuset Møn Bed & Breakfast. OK country hotel needing a facelift

Automated check-in system, which can be a bit impersonal for guests used to more traditional systems. However, the staff were great and very keen to help. For the price paid, I felt a little short-changed. The bedroom and bathroom really need an update although the bed was comfortable and I slept well. The evening meal buffet was basic but tasty and quite good value for around £23. Breakfast was also basic but adequate and included in the price. Internet speed was great. The location was quiet and in the countryside and suited my purposes well. The big plus was the staff!
