You'd be a Wally to leave Nagato without exploring all the other fabulous attractions on offer in Chugoku. Chugoku boasts beaches and coastal plains, along with common Chugoku tourist sights like the ruins and castles. Or spend some time snowboarding while you are here.

It's well known that we Aussies know how to relax, so consider extending your stay and check out the Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum of Art and Yamaguchi University, in Yamaguchi, 40 kilometres to the southeast of Nagato.
