Staying here was an amazing, unique experience. So beautiful and historic. The photos don't do it justice. The manager was very friendly and helpful, super easy to work with and was readily available when needed. He also gave great recommendations for dinner.

Giulia was super nice, friendly and accommodating. The place was great for our one night and early morning to the train station. We just needed to crash somewhere. You’re staying in an older area, so amenities are just what they are. The WiFi was not great. The place was very safe and took 3 locked doors to enter which gave us peace of mind. We had to leave super early so did not get the breakfast but I’m sure it would’ve been great. Giulia was fantastic and the room was spacious and comfortable which is all that was needed. Taxi was a snafu - be careful - twice they tried to get us to pay more when they know you’re not local. But that has nothing to do with the place, just the area.

Giangi is an extraordinary host! He arranged transportation from the airport to the bed and breakfast and was very helpful and kind to us. He has great communication skills and took time to answer my never ending questions regarding things to do in Naples and travel arrangements to other places such as Sorrento. I really appreciate his help because we visited many places recommended by him. The place is very unique and close to the metro station and walking distance to the “centro storico”. Our room was super clean and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast!!! Overall, this place is highly recommended!!! Grazie tutti!!

Authentic and charming

Central location within a historic building, room was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. Room was air conditioned and worked well. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, with shampoo and liquid soap provided. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again if back in the location.

What was unique was Giangi’s constant care and attention. Always at the end of a WhatsApp for any request we had. Lovely characterful rooms. Amazing 1690 property. Forgiven for the 65 stone steps up the wide wide staircase!

The best part of this experience was the manager Giangi. He met us at the front door and showed us the entire place ... including giving a history of the building. He arranged for a taxi for us and followed up. His entire attitude was welcoming and accommodating and made our stay outstanding.

Mid priced hotel simple stay

The hotel is on the second floor four flights up / it's nice and clean and offers good coffee facilities/.reception is good when they are there /.the hotel is located in a reasonable area /. breakfast is served in a local cafe the staff are very rude and odd hand and that made breakfast not great /.I was told it's a local one and that's how they are /.

The Stanze is charming - a modern, budget friendly take on a vintage European small hotel. The historic old city, archaeological museum, Central train station and other points of interest are all just 5-15 minute walks. There are good restaurants nearby. We’d stay there again. There are 2-3 flights of stairs from the courtyard to the hotel entrance.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! The building is awesome, Giangi was amazing before, during and when we were leaving. You could not ask for a better host. He met us at the taxi, helped us with the bags. It is a short walk to the city center and great restaurants. Besides that, Napoli is an amazing city. If you are going here, stay here!
