We stayed at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in October 2025 and were extremely disappointed with how the property handled active construction during our stay. When we checked in, we were told there “might be some noise” due to balcony door replacements. What we actually experienced was constant drilling, heavy machinery, and scaffolding right outside the building from 8am to 5pm every day. None of this was disclosed prior to booking. When we asked to leave early because the noise was unbearable, we were told to contact Expedia (our booking platform). Expedia initially agreed to reimburse us and move us to another resort—until Naples Grande denied that any construction was happening. Even after showing the on-site managers the noise, workers, and scaffolding, they refused to call it “construction” so they could avoid responsibility. The staff did eventually offer to let us leave early without paying for unused nights, but by that point, relocating and rebooking everything was too disruptive. We stayed, but our experience was nothing like what we paid for. This kind of wordplay and lack of transparency is unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. The grounds and beach are beautiful, but the honesty and guest care were not. If you’re considering staying here, I would recommend confirming directly with the property whether construction or “door replacement work” is ongoing before booking.

The hotel is generally a nice property and the staff are very friendly, however, it desperately needs an update and more amenities. The pricing is not in line with the level of services, quality and update of the property. Their saving grace is their location, the size of their rooms and their staff, they are all joyful and friendly.

Hotel has construction going on and noisy level in unacceptable. Hotel changed my original room suite to smaller suite and did not compensate me for the change until I complained to the senior manager. Rooms show visible signs of wear and tear and aging renovation is needed.

Overall my stay at the Naples Grande was fairly uncomfortable. From start to finish the experience was inconvenient. Beginning with having to make 2 trips to check in, one to the front desk, up to our room, and back down to move our car to the parking garage. The room was outdated and not well maintained, the carpets were sticky and had strong mildew smell that never went away even after airing out the room. The shower was insanely small. During my stay construction was underway, and I was woken up with loud power tool noises everyday. Maintenance is understandable but they should have refrained from placing guests in rooms near constant construction noise. For the last few days I was at the Naples Grande their parking garage gate system broke, we immediately notified staff who did not give any assurance that they were working to fix it and the issues persisted for days where it was a hassle just to exit the parking garage. We booked through Expedia and were charged the resort fee, I began receiving charges on my card through my stay for the resort fee, we spoke to the hotel and had them refund these double charges. If you choose to book third party make sure to check them on this as it is a fairly hefty fee to be charged twice for. On the up side the pool and access to the beach is great, and very nice that they offer shuttle to the beach, but I would still opt to stay elsewhere my next time in Naples for a more comfortable experience.
