The hotel, staff, and hotel accommodations were excellent. However, there was a significant level of noise from other guests, which persisted throughout the night and included sounds such as telephones ringing in the middle of the night, as well as ambulance and police sirens. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that access to the 7th-floor outlook was restricted due to ongoing construction.

Extremely Disappointing & Unacceptable Experience

A deeply disappointing and infuriating experience. We stayed at this hotel from July 26–29, 2025, and were shocked by how we were treated during our 4 a.m. checkout. Despite telling the front desk agent three times that we did not use the minibar, he accused us of lying and insisted on checking the room. We allowed it, even though we were rushing to catch an international flight. While he was gone, his colleague...more aggressive and rude...yelled at us, saying we could not leave until the minibar check was complete. We felt intimidated and disrespected, as if we were criminals. My friend and I are both professional Asian American women in our early 40s. She is a middle school science teacher, and I am a university adjunct professor and business analyst. The way we were treated bore no respect for who we are as individuals...or as paying guests. When the minibar was found untouched, there was no apology. Instead, they tried to make small talk...as if that erased the humiliation. The staff’s behavior was completely unprofessional, and this left a terrible final impression on our trip. Whether this was discrimination or poor training, it was unacceptable. We will never return to this hotel and urge others...especially women and people of color...to think twice before booking.

Great hotel, outside the main train station. Loud street outside but with windows closed you can barely hear it. Clean room and bathroom, well designed. Good breakfast with plenty of food options.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived early and, although our room wasn’t ready yet, they tried to check us in and gladly stored our bags so we could start exploring right away. The location is excellent—right near the train station and within easy walking distance of the city center. There are tons of food options nearby, making it a super convenient base for seeing Naples. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent if arriving or leaving from Napoli Central Station as it is literally across the station. What is a great advantge is also a bit of a disadvantage as it is usually the case, areas around central tratin stations are not the nicest, but during the day I felt totally safe walking and within 5 minutes of walking you are in very tourist spots. The staff are wonderful and the amenities great. It is a grand hotel, particularly if you are transfering between train and airport the next day (as it was my case). Thank you to StarHotels Terminus for a wonderful stay!

Comfortable stay

Great hotel for a short stay in Naples. Booked as near Garibaldi station for easy transport links. Pompeii/vesuvius tour collects at door of hotel and Alibus to airport right across the road. Lovely big room with a nice balcony and views. Very comfortable room, sky tv available for movies and large bathroom. Lots of space and storage. Service was friendly and helpful. Kettle was broken and another brought up straight away. Breakfast had a huge selection of options including hot and cold. Breads were delicious and lovely pastries. Other reviews mention the area but we always felt safe and lots of shops, restaurants, bars nearby. Recommend taking line 2 down to Chiaia for a stroll along water front.

This was great stay. Although location isn’t in the middle of the best part of Naples, it’s right next to the major train station and 10 minutes uber ride away. This was convenient. We enjoyed it, and it’s perfect for family.

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Naples!

We had a wonderful stay at Starhotels Terminus during our time in Naples. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful—always ready to offer local tips or assist with anything we needed. The location is unbeatable, right next to Napoli Centrale train station, which made getting around the city and traveling to places like Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast extremely convenient. Despite the busy area, the hotel felt peaceful and secure inside. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of options, both Italian and international. The coffee was also top-notch, just what you need to start your day in Italy. Highly recommend Starhotels Terminus for anyone visiting Naples—whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Very nice hotel which is very central, right next to Termini, the main train station. Check in was great and we were able to get into our room early. The room and bathroom were modern and clean. The food we ordered was also excellent. Only a couple of small things stopped us giving an overall top rating - there only appears to be one very small lift so if it’s busy you can wait quite a while and the choice of tv channels isn’t great so a Netflix option would be good. No obvious recycling either. Overall though, I’d definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in Naples.

There was nothing to dislike. The location is perfect. It`s right next to Napoli Centrale and Garibaldi Station, so getting around is very convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and a great way to start the day.
