New Hotel

New Hotel but there are some glitches. Our door did not close and lock easily. However, as we were leaving, a worker arrived to check out the problem. And, there was no large or full length mirror in the room itself. The only mirror was in the bathroom separated by a door. In the bar/restaurant, the South of the Border with chicken was excellent.

Had an interesting start to staying here when a guest outside said don't stay here as the fire alarm keeps going off. There was a wait to check-in, as there was a lot gojng on. The lifts weren't working when we arrived. Also, the fire alarm then went off about 10mins after we got to the room. The lifts were working when we returned later that evening and didn't have an issue with the fire alarms after then. Stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel was clean and modern. The rooms seemed big. The blinds worked well in keeping the room dark, unlike some hotels. A few minor grips.... the inability to share content from your phone to the TV was lacking or at least I couldn't get it to work. Also why have teabags if you only have a coffee pod machine. Not sure if the intention is you have coffee flavoured tea. The sliding door on the shower had a tendency to want to slowly open. The shower head wasn't completely fixed to the wall and the shampoo in the shower was empty when I arrived and was never filled. Would definitely consider staying here again. I'm sure many of the minor issues we had will be overcome over time.

Need to get their payments system together.

They have authorized $225 worth of payments for a $133 room. The holds didnt fall off at checkout as per any other hotel i have stayed at. If i am actually charged as i should be i will amend my review, if not i will contact my credit card to dispute the charges.

Never again.

I was in Nashville for business, and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the place I was working. I got in late and just wanted to grab some food from the in-house restaurant and get a good night sleep, but not only did the restaurant give me the wrong order (after waiting more than 30 minutes for it) just before they closed for the night, but there were a ton of teenagers running and yelling all along the hallway for hours last night. I went to be bed hungry and unable to get a good night’s rest as a result. The manager was kind and considerate, so that’s a plus. But the experience otherwise was horrible.
