The property, the pools, the beautiful blue ocean water, was absolutely beautiful!! Some of the employees, not so friendly. We had to call room service multiple times to restock water, and they never would come. We were told to make reservations for the restaurants yet seen people walk right in them. When we pay for an all inclusive. That’s what we expect. Not very accommodating many times.

Our experience at RIU Paradise Island was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, refreshing welcome drinks, and breathtaking ocean views. The resort grounds were pristine, with easy access to a stunning stretch of white sandy beach and crystal-clear turquoise water. The pools were beautiful and lively, and we especially enjoyed the swim-up bar and the entertainment staff who kept the energy up throughout the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable—with gorgeous ocean views that made waking up each morning feel like a dream. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. The food options exceeded expectations—from the buffets to the specialty restaurants, everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff at every restaurant were attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. What really made this trip stand out was the amazing staff—they went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, and it truly added a personal touch to the entire experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful all-inclusive getaway with great food, lively vibes, and a picture-perfect beach—RIU Paradise Island is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

This hotel was the nastiest place I have ever experienced. It was unkept and disgusting that we couldn’t even stay, we canceled our reservation and went to a different hotel on the island. This place is so disgraceful that they don’t even want to give us a refund and we didn’t even stay at their hotel. Very disappointed and very upsetting that this hotel has no morales or any common decency to take our money. The food was worse than I have ever seen and that was the 1 meal we attempted to eat before leaving. The pool was brown water there was trash everywhere. They even reuse the plastic throw away cups to save themselves money or something, this is an all inclusive and it was the nastiest place ever.

I would rate this a 3 star resort. All of the diner dining you will need to make reservations with very limited seating and only 2 days out for making reservations. The pool service was substandard at other resorts I have been to. The beds are very firm and the pillows were fair at best.

The hotel is definitely showing its age and could benefit from some much-needed renovations. Service was generally poor, though there were a few standout staff members who made a positive difference. Food options are limited, but to be fair, everything we tried was delicious. Entertainment overall could use improvement, but the dance team was excellent and really helped elevate the experience.

WE love the RIU.......The ALL inclusive is great. The presentation, delicious choices and quality BUFFET are always a treat." No problem " truly lives at the RIU. This is our 5 or 6 visit in the last 8 years.

Great beach and food! The bed only comes with two flat pillows and a thin sheet. The rooms are air conditioned so much that the nights were freezing and there were no extra blankets/comforters or pillows. Also if you are on the 15th floor, only 1 elevator can be reached so the waiting times for it are brutal. Just some helpful feedback for others!

The male staff was in between either just aggressive or very nice. The female staff in the restaurants were not friendly it’s hard to get a drink if even soda. There’s no staff on the beach bringing drinks. The hotel is surrounded by construction. It’s a very small place the night life is terrible it gave off couples resort. Had this been in the description I would not have went. I love RIU properties but I’d never go back here.

Food is excellent, entertainment most of the day. Night shows are amazing. Beautiful beach. Most of the staff is nice. Overall the hotel is outdated mainly the rooms, furniture.
