I was so happy that I stayed at this property. It's so close to everything and so utterly charming. The backyard was so gorgeous with the pool and the cypress trees. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was so beautiful and the bed so comfortable. The only complaint is that it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep some drinks or leftovers cool.

Loved our stay at Chateau Hotel it was the perfect walking distance to bourbon street, thrift shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms were clean and well kept. Miss Elaine was a sweetheart making us feel welcomed the moment we arrived she also gave us a great breakfast recommendation. Will definitely stay here again.

Elaine, David ( linguistics major) Neco ( that’s not his name but I can’t remember- he finalized my transport to the airport) Rome the driver…. Loved my room and its location, A microwave in the room would have made a big difference. Loved that my key was not constantly being deactivated. This may not be a 5 star hotel, but there is something special about the Chateau Hotel and I would return. Thank you for making my birthday a memorable one. Blessings.

Fantastic hotel with a European flair. Very friendly staff who enjoyed sharing their knowledge of the area. Elegant courtyard, first class bed linens. Very easy to walk to French Market and Jackson Square.

Our stay

The staff at this hotel were all very nice. The location was great for walking around the French Quarter. I wish it had a few more amenities like a small refrigerator and more places to store clothes. It would have been better if they had blackout curtains. There was a street light right outside our room and quite a bit of light filtered in.

Rooms were nice and cool (air conditioning worked great). Close to everywhere you want to be. You don’t need a rental car unless you want emergency transportation. I rented one because my brain just works that way. Only used it on the first and last day…. And once to go to a Pelicans game.
