The staff was very friendly and helpful. They responded quickly to our needs. The room & facilities were clean and well kept. The lobby was inviting and comfortable to hang out in. The only down side was that that there wasn’t much in walking distance in terms of dining or shopping.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting. Our room was unsafe for human habitation. Water dripped from our ceiling, there was mold, the room smelled like mold and mildew. There was no battery in the smoke detector (left open), all fixtures were rusted, they were OUT OF TOWELS. We were given two towels for our family of four. So much water dripped from the ceiling and there was an extension rod holding the valance/curtains. They were completely soaked from the water. I put at least five towels that all got soaked as it dripped loudly into our room onto our A/C. The room smelled like pee. The front desk staff was completely unhelpful, didn't care. As I showed pictures they looked completely unsurprised, was unapologetic and handed me the business card of the GM and said not to call because it goes to them so I should email. I wouldn't stay here again if I was paid. Also, outdoor locks were not working so anyone could walk into the hotel. Honestly, I could go on about how awful this hotel, the cleanliness and customer service was but I'm exhausted after two sleepless nights on the most uncomfortable beds and gross smelling pillows. I have a lot of pictures for proof that I showed the front desk and they did not even apologize.

Great stay for what we were in town for. Lack of party for those staying at the hotel.. Nice view. Very short distance to stores restaurants and fast food... Airplanes overhead was not a bother as most would think.. Good Breakfast options..Clean. Comfortable seating and beds... Firm pillows .

Location within walking distance to the Ponchatrain Center was a big plus. The hotel itself is very outdated. It desperately needs a remodel. Check-in was 3 hours late but the staff were very friendly and helpful!
