Nice hotel. The only notable and major inconvenience was not being informed of how certain French Quarter street events will prohibit you from driving back to the hotel, since the all streets leading to the hotel garage were closed off.

I’ve stayed at this hotel the last two times I have visited New Orleans. The location is ideal for walking the French Quarter. Staff is friendly and professional. Hotel lobby and common areas are clean and inviting. Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Bedding is luxurious and ideal for relaxing and sleeping.

Southern hospitality is top notch here. The front desk staff was very kind and personable. There was a man from the valet services that was above and beyond kind. I'm sorry I didn’t get their names.

when you stay here its to party bourbon street in 1 half block down lots of drug addicts all night music all night vehicles all night noise very dirty and very disgusting area but the hotel is great.

The staff was wonderful! Our room (520) was a little spooky - felt something stroking my foot in the middle of the night (on the underside - so almost like it was inside of the bed) and then pressure on the bed like someone was standing next to me (you know how the pressue of body weight will make a bed 'sink'). Of course, I had to set up a camera to see what it was and I told the staff / manager - she offered to move us, but I wanted to give it one more night (occurances happened four nights in a row) - of course once I reported it and had a camera going - nothing but peace and quiet. Aside from the weird foot touching and feeling like someone was either leaning or standing on the bed, it was a fantastic stay! The happy hour specials were awesome as well. Thank you so much for a lovely time!

Hotel was okay. Staff are unnecessarily rude. Had to switch rooms as soon as we arrived because the beds were beyond squeaky. Jermaine did help us move rooms but wasn’t the nicest about it. Seemed like it was a problem to help and accommodate us as guests. On top of that, when we got to the new room, the tv was completely out of service. That never got fixed throughout our 4 day stay and we weren’t really told much about it. Beds are also super uncomfortable but hotel is quiet and in close quarters of Bourbon street. If i come back to NOLA will most likely never stay at St Marie again. Highlight is the bar in the lobby, there is a blonde haired bartender that is so nice and made us feel way more comfortable than the hotel staff. She is great! Hotel is also in bad condition and needs renovation, our wallpaper was falling off the wall in our room 401.

Good location, lovely hotel. A couple of the front desk staff were less than friendly/helpful, and dealing with reserving the conference room was absurdly difficult. Who should be let go? No one. Who should be trained better? Several. That's on management. Would I book another group in here? Probably.
