Every person who works the front desk are the best, so helpful and accommodating. I'm disabled and sometimes places don't care, but here they're always understanding. The location is super convenient, it's a 5min walk 1min drive to Walmart, right off i10, tons of shopping plazas. The pool area is gorgeous. It's safe and quiet. The property and rooms are well maintained. Very clean. I've stayed here a dozen times this year and I have never seen a bug or woke up with mystery bites -- and it's Louisiana so that's no easy feat. They get inside even the best of them. This is my go to for visiting New Orleans. Imo it's worth the drive. Every time I think about mixing it up and staying somewhere else I usually regret it, or I can't find anything comparable. I always come back to here. The only negative I can say is the mattresses are too firm for my back, I have chronic back pain, been through spinal fusion so I can't rate them like a normal person. I can say they aren't delapidated. The thin foam mattress pad I got from Walmart the first time I stayed here paid for itself in my first stay, now I keep it stored in my van for whenever I stay here..But for a normal person the beds are probably ok.
