We had a wonderful time staying at The Sonder in New Orleans. Our 3 bedroom, 2 full bath apartment w kitchen was very comfortable for the 5 of us. The room and building has amazing charm, such as real original uneven hardwood floors, brick and plaster walls. We appreciated that most people stayed relatively quiet after 10 pm. Very easy walk to Canal street, the French Quarter, shopping, restaurants and all the area attractions. Very clean, comfortable, and ac worked great! The only criticism is that there is not a way to store luggage either before or after arrival. There is not a front desk. We stayed 3 nights, but only enough coffee for 2 days. Bummer, I had to go down to the bar, and get coffee. (Not a big deal☺️)

Highly recommend - walking distance to all major attractions in French Quarter. Stylish and practical. Communication is clear. Only one thing worth keeping in mind - if you come with a lot of clothes or stay very long our apartment did not have a closet and had only minimal storage space. We rented for three nights so it did not matter and could have been that our unit is for short stays.

We enjoyed spreading out in the three rooms. Washer/dryer was a nice thing to have. Interesting decor. Room was right by elevator and people were pretty noisy coming in and out all night until the morning.

Just off Bourbon St, but was fairly quiet area. Nice coffee and bar below. Only concern is parking, which we booked ahead based on reviews and it was a saver. Love that the room has full kitchen and laundry! Would definitely stay again!

This property had no onsite staff. Took 24hrs to get towels. Bottom floor was all brick and one frosted glass window. It was like a tomb. No fresh air. People were outside the frosted glass all night. The interior walls were thin. We could hear every conversation above and next door. Very loud.

I enjoyed staying here! This was My first time staying in the French Quarter and had access to so many restaurants and bars. The condo was very spacious, 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. It’s a beautiful space and was big enough for my siblings and I to have our own rooms. All of the appliances were up to date and functional. There is easy access to an elevator if you’re unable to go upstairs. Another plus is having a bar downstairs. I highly recommend staying here.

The apartments themselves are clean and up to date. The only down side is if you arrive earlier than 4 you do not have access into the apartments and have to pay extra if you would like to get in by 2-3. There is also no where to store your luggage safely if you choose not to sit and wait for access into the apartment’s and choose to leave and visit the city in the mean time… so that means you either have to wait a few hours in the lobby/waiting area or you have to lug your baggage around till then. Other than that it’s a wonderful location and close by to most areas people would like to visit. Very walkable.

The apartment we got for the price for our family of 4 was more than spacious! Beautifully done up and decorated - with a happening bar downstairs. My only complaint is the walls are thin so every night we could hear the people upstairs like they were running or walking inside our room. Woke us all up. Otherwise great apartment we called home for 4 days in a central location from the French quarter and canal street.

Absolutely Taken Advantage of!!

Unfortunately we were extremely price gauged due to the Superbowl. The pictures listed online were so far from what the property actually looks like in person. There was vomit on the elevator rug when we arrived and the hallway is overpowered with the smell of pinesol… we feel absolutely taken advantage of for the price we paid for the weekend. We assumed this would be a fun vintage/modern suite and in actuality, was an old building cheaply converted into used and abused motel quality rooms at best. I never complain, much less leave bad reviews, but this was such a scam and absolutely disappointing experience I felt compelled to speak up so others don’t get swindled to stay here!!
