Unfortunately, we were placed in a unit with broken air conditioning. So in the hot steamy Louisiana temperatures it was miserable. We contacted the property right away using the 800 phone number. They said they made a maintenance report and they would get to us between 9 AM and 5 PM. At 3 PM. I contacted them again saying we hadn’t heard from maintenance and it was currently 80° in our unit. Someone showed up and said they would fix it and we went out to dinner. When we got back at 8 PM it was not fixed, the unit was slowly getting hotter and there was no communication with us as to why. I again contacted the property and asked to be moved to a new unit. We were there with a large group celebrating a birthday and had to spend a lot of time handling this issue, trying to contact someone, re-packing and unpacking and moving between units. We asked for a refund of our first night and are still trying to get management to refund us. I would also mention that the ice machine in the lobby was broken and there is no ice machine in the units. We reported this the first day and they said they would address it. At the time that we left, four days later, it had still not been fixed.
Process for checking in was easy, room was clean and the help desk was very hunted down a tv remote for me. Im sure it was wrapped in bedding from prior guest and taken when they cleaned the room. 4 remotes later and I was all set.
I stayed here Thursday through Sunday my experience with my room wasn't what i expected. Lets start with if you have no front desk attendants or staff then ensure the rooms are fully stocked with towels for the duration of the guests room stay. Then when housekeeping does the rounds make sure the do simple things like swwep u der beds it was a drink bottle with a used condom under my bed. Then my bed broke from simply laying on in thats how i knew they condom was under there. Bed broke every night to the point that i didn't even want to fix it anymore just laid on separate parts of the bed. I saw housekeeping and asked for a face towel but all they had was a body towel.

Gnats are horrible, the odor of garbage hits you as soon as you walk outside. Have what you need, there’s NO vending, no ice machines, no towel unless you walk down stairs hoping there are towels left, no coffee creamer. Saw a few roaches, ironing board was broken.

The room was spacious. The wood floors are a fall hazard. Separating and gapped in the room. Flying insects the entire stay. Extremely humid, causing clothes and towels to stay wet.
The rooms were really nice. Downfall was the headboard light wouldn't shut off so I had to stack my clothes over the light to sleep.

Great place to stay for tradeshow at convention center. Apartment was clean and spacious. Only issue - toilet in master suite was broken and kitchen sink had a major plumbing issue
Kind of hard to rate because the upside is awesome but the downside is egregious. The parking is OUTRAGEOUS, $40 per night, only 8 total, and you can't book ahead so if all 8 spaces are taken there is NO parking and you have to seek out street parking (good luck if it's durring a big event). There is also NO STAFF on site, so if you need service it's basically not going to happen. There is a shelf in the lobby with some extra supplies but it's basically a first come first served situation, and by Saturday there were no extra towels or blankets left. The room itself was nice, and if you're going to the Convention Center it's basically across the street which is great. It's also very walkable to food, and the food choices were good. The area is extremely noisy, we heard ambulances all night and traffic noise constantly because there's a major freeway more or less directly over the building. Overall I would stay here only if you don't care if it's quiet and aren't planning to drive.
Excellent place to stay and proximity to Convention Center was so convenient.

Our group loved the size of our 2 apartments and we loved the building. however, the front door would not lock and that was a huge problem. No extra security with a front lobby door that anyone can enter. Also, the units needs more furniture (dressers in bedrooms, extra chairs in living area), towels, more kitchen utensils, more dishes and glassware. We reported the front door problem several times and it was not fixed. also, a fire started on the night of Jan. 17 on the second floor and we were never notified of the incident. We were there when several fire trucks came to put the fire out. So thankfully the fire did not spread.
