This was a nice hotel for the price. The location was perfect for a Times Square, Broadway birthday celebration. In perfect proximity to great restaurants, shops and theaters. The AC was persnickety and the room and hallway were warm. Be aware the rooms are small. Other than that, no complaints. Will likely stay again.

Poor Service and Darn Right Nasty

I was treating my wife and sister for her Sister’s 65th birthday to a night and shows. In the notes section I mentioned my wife and her sister would be staying. On arrival they would not let them check in and honestly were RUDE. This upset her sister who needed a break as he husband just had his leg amputated. I wanted to do something nice but I guess that is not what we do in 2025.

The location of the hotel is terrific. It’s next to many subway entrances and feet away from Times Square. My issues were: our view, we paid for a city view and because of the side and floor they put us on (33) it was just blocked by other buildings and that was their excuse. So I paid more for essentially no view. They don’t specify that. Second, the elevators are terrible. There’s 5 elevators in total and it takes up to 45 minutes to get to your room at times or to get down to the lobby, with each elevator being tiny and only holding maybe 7-10 people if they’re all small. With luggage that’s another story. Breakfast was alright, they do offer a decent selection and it tastes like hotel breakfast. However, it was also jam packed to try and get food and grab a table to enjoy it. Lastly, be sure to note there is a $100 deposit (per night) which cost me $700 for 7 nights which was quite the expense on an already expensive trip. I didn’t bring a car so I can’t comment on parking. The ac works but it’s a fixed temperature that doesn’t go below 68 degrees Fahrenheit. So if you’re a warm sleeper, be prepared. You’ll also need to ask for extra pillows as they flatten thinner than cardboard. This was all my personal experience.

The location is great! Breakfast was not good, not that we expect too much from free breakfast but this was bad. Called for valet they informed us to call closer to our wanted time it would take 45min-1hr. It took 2 hours to get our vehicle and we missed our tour time we had purchased and lost out on $260 worth of tickets due to this. Also while wasting 2hrs of our limited time because we had to physically be there when the vehicle arrived.

Liked Sunday complimentary breakfast, Saturday morning breakfast was terrible. Elevators are not sufficient for the hotel’s size. Wait entirely to long for an elevator when requested and then more often then not they’re full and you’re stuck waiting for another to arrive and hope that one is t full also.

Location of the property was excellent, as long as you want to be in the middle of the action, which we did. Despite all that was going on around the hotel we found our room to be very quiet and peaceful. The included breakfast was very good. The one slight complaint was that we had reserved a room with a king size bed and the room we got had a queen size bed in it. When we asked at the desk about that when checking out we were told that the room we'd been in was showing a king size bed on their system, despite clearly not being a king size bed. That said, we still slept fine.

Had a great stay! Close and convenient to all NYC activities and public transportation. Hotel was clean, safe, and room was perfect for our needs with a fridge, microwave, safe, coffee. Special shout out to their staff! Very helpful and pleasant, always! Maintenance person went out of his way to be friendly and assist with a quick issue. Huge thanks to front desk manager Meriton, who worked magic to extend our stay. He was professional, helpful and went the extra mile to get us a good rate. Would absolutely book here again! Kiddos to the staff in particular- thank you!

I booked this hotel 5 months in advance to make sure that I had a good room for 3 adults - 2 double beds. Upon arrival I was told that the hotel had been oversold and they only had a room with a queen bed and a pullout couch for the the 1st 2 nights of 5 reserved. Pullout was very uncomfortable. I was offered compensation but it was not what I expected and in changing rooms we had to checkout and store our luggage while waiting to check in later in the day. It was very inconvenient and I was not impressed. I am still waiting on some of the compensation promised to me.
