If you go there in the middle of the week you have very good prices.. starting from Monday to Thursday...I can always count on Holiday Inn Express by the Bronx zoo area.

No matter where I go I always come back. I love it. I feel safe comfortable at ease and I can sleep at night. Breakfast is served at 6:30 am to 9:30 am Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. first thing I do when I get into my room I throw myself on the bed. It's always on point My room staff and management and the property is excellent.

We were under the impression from the listing photos that there would be two queen beds in the newly updated suites- apparently there are very few rooms with two beds in the property and they were (if I’m not mistaken the desk staff member said both) all taken when we arrived. Not ideal- the room was tidy and clean and the staff did their best to accommodate us, by providing us with an extra blanket however the rooms are better suited for a couple than two non-couple travel companions. On a positive note the breakfast in the morning was good and the hotel is easy walking distance to little Italy, Fordham the zoo and botanical gardens.
