This hotel *just* opened - it could be very nice someday. Until then they should maybe give some deep discounts, as it's a woefully unfinished space. It was previously the well-reputed Holiday Inn express, a basic hotel with a great breakfast. It's now super clean and nicely refurbished, they just haven't really... finished it. There is no breakfast. There is NO COFFEE. None. Not in the room. Not downstairs. Not even hot water for tea. Not even a spare sugar packet. Good luck with your morning. The staff is very pleasant and tries to be helpful - the issues are not their fault. Management alert! This hotel is *not* ready! Our room was boiling, with both AC - and heat! ‐ set to 90! The thermostat barely worked to lessen this. But the worst and scariest thing, as many have mentioned, is that all the windows seem to be venting (they all open), none seem to have screens, and many seem to malfunction, to the point of being wildly unsafe. For the love of god, don't take your kids here! One of ours couldnt be locked without serious finagling, and the window limiter on the other fell right off on first use, so that thing could just swing wide open with nothing to stop it. I was able to fix it temporarily (I used to work for a window company) but I warned the staff it would happen again. They said they were sending someone to fix, but I saw no signs of that. Please, management, do better! PS, the J line has major construction going on, but the rooms on the side are quiet enough.

This hotel is ok if you don’t mind both internal and external noise, moderate cleanliness, and already have plans for food elsewhere. Bare bones utilitarian room, clean sheets and towels but floors and walls not a priority for housekeeping. Better than rent by the hour joints but you can see them from here.

Dirty and unsafe

where do I begin? I’m not even one for reviews however, I checked into this hotel just to be told that the hotel keys are not working and i have to have an employee accompany me to the room to assure that i can get in. The first room that i received a key for had no tv remote i went to call for room service and realized that the rooms have no phones to call down to the main desk. I ended up having to google the hotel number and call them. The receptionist told me that they had a bunch of remotes downstairs but he couldn’t be sure that they would work for my tv. He agreed to change the room and told me to come back down stairs for a new room. the second room that I was escorted to was being occupied, when the worker let me in the room someone else’s bags were still in there a freshly used towel on the back of the chair and a un-made bed. I turned to the worker who looked just as confused as me. the THIRD room that i was given was filthy, bed unmade whole room dirty. The 4th room that i was given finally had a tv remote and a made bed, however the bathroom had long strands of hair hanging from the shower head. I ended up having to clean the tub and shower out because at this point it’s really late, i just got off of work and had to be back to work in the morning I was exhausted. On top of all of this the hotel key doesn’t work. next day i tried to get a new key to go to the gym and was told my key would deactivate in an hour because checkout was soon. This place is a MOTEL
