This hotel was a great value. It had a walk-in closet and a refrigerator and was very spacious. It was very walkable to everything we wanted to do in New York City, which included Broadway, Central Park, St. Patrick’s, Cathedral, high line, and art museums. And don’t forget the breakfast, which wasn’t anything special, but it was nice to have an area to drink coffee and eat a bagel that you could get from a block away.

Excellent stay in a classic hotel.

Had a great stay for an extended weekend. A great location near Herald Square, Macy's, and the Empire State Building. Several good restaurants in the area, Booked a twin room with a shared bath, and was upgraded to a suite with 2 queen beds and ensuite bath. I was very pleased. My room was on the 4th floor, of a 10 (?) story hotel, and is an older building but definitely remodeled and updated. However it took a long time for shower water to get hot. But be patient, once the hot water starts, it is definitely HOT!

As a first time solo traveler to NYC, this hotel was perfect! The location is walkable to several major attractions, the hotel offers free luggage storage, free breakfast and coupons to nearby restaurants! The hotel is really lovely and has a cool, unique vibe. The room was comfy and the staff friendly and helpful!

Hotel Stanford is my “to stay” hotel in NYC from now on. Best location- few steps away from Pen Station, short walk to Time Square and all that New York can offer. Few steps to bus stop and metro station. Staff are extremely friendly and go out if their way to make your stay pleasant. Hotel is clean and very quiet. I absolutely loved it.

The hotel was what we needed, a place to stay to take in New York. It wasn’t fancy but, the bed was comfortable, our room had a fridge/safe, and all the things we needed. The breakfast was pretty limited and served tiny hot dogs and mashed potatoes, and stuff to make a mixed salad. That was sorta of odd but, maybe that’s normal to some people. Otherwise it was cereal, yogourt, bread/bagels and fruit. We would stay here again when we come back, it was centrally located and nearby the train station so we just had a short walk when we arrived/left. The street is also full of awesome restaurants and stores - lots to explore on that block.

Amazing stay as always. The staff is kind and tries to accomodate any needs you may have. They are very informative about what is available and even offer discounts for nearby restaurants to help you stay on budget during your stay. The room is very comfortable and clean. You have your basic necessities and the complimentary continental breakfast and after hours coffee service is a huge creature comfort that you wont always find in your New York hotel stays. This hotel is my #1 choice of stays during my visits to the city.

Quite a pleasant experience in this hotel in the Korean business district of New York..I thank the staff and the doorman for the welcome during my four night stay..Nice time. I did suggest installing rails around the bathtubs so I don't fall.Other than that..it was a great time!
