Need to start off by saying that for the great price they charged, you'll hardly find anything better in NYC! Friendly staff, it's clean and looks recently renovated, however it appears thatn some common areas aren't finished yet and aren't accessible. The biggest complaints are the "energy saving" features in the room....bathroom lights are on a motion sensor which doesn't realize you're in the shower, so expect sudden total darkness once or twice while you're showering where you need to open the shower and wave at the sensor. You'll get a mini-bottle of shampoo and one bar soap, prepare respectively. Also, the room A/C resets itself to 68F if you leave for a couple hours OR while you're sleeping (another energy saver?)

Reasonably priced hotel in convenient location in LIC. Rooms were clean with views. The hotel housekeeping staff were on top of it. However, the front desk seemed to have some mixup w/ Expedia where the room was not supposed to be paid until arrival but they tried to charge before arrival. Also, the bathroom light would turn on and off through the night by itself which was creepy. Front desk didn't really take it very seriously.

Great Choice!

I stayed overnight on 4/26/24. The location near Manhattan was excellent. The staff was very friendly and rooms were immaculate. I'll definitely stay here again.

While the property was convenient to transportation, the property did not have much to offer. I arrived at 2:55 check in was at 3 and it took over 1.5 hours to have room ready. I end up requesting another room as my room was never cleaned. I finally got a different room without balcony at close to 5:00.

The furniture in the room was broken down. The desk was faded and chipped . The chair was tapped up and faded. The bed sheet was dirty. I requested a new bed sheet and never received it. The staff ignored my request.

It seemed that the property recently reopened under new management. I’m sure most of the issues we had are a result of that. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived resulting in an hour wait until they were. Also, there was a problem with the HVAC that they were working on which caused the room to be very warm. We were able to open our sliding glass door to the balcony in order to cool the room, though. The biggest issue we experienced were the motion detector lights in the bathroom and entrance hall. They would randomly come on during the night which disturbed our sleep. All this said, the location was convenient for us, the bed was quite comfortable and the water pressure & temperature setting in the shower was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has recently reopened and they are rebuilding their reputation. The hotel charges $150 as a holding deposit on arrival which is refunded after check out as long as you don’t smoke in the room. The hotel is in a great location and easy to travel to different areas around New York. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Ignore any calls or emails that are not from Expedia.co.uk as there are scammers trying to con you out of money so be aware.

Easy to get to off major highways. Super friendly staff at our check-in. The room was a bit small, but was very clean! The bathroom was nicely stocked with towels, cups, tissues, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Had an iron and board and luggage rack for us as well as bottled water! The only other thing we could have used was a small refrigerator. We will definitely book here again!
