A nice little spot with convenient access to the Subway. Having said that, this place isn’t very well staffed aside from reception - as most of their staff is at the Howard Johnson (owned by the same company) across the street. You’re even told at check in that if you need ice or snack/drink machines to go to the Howard Johnson across the street. Room Service was VERY minimal for the week that my buddy and I stayed there (this was pre pandemic). The location was nice during the daytime, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best area once the sun goes down. Again, it was conveniently located near the subway, which made it super easy for us to get to everywhere we wanted to go; and the view of the New York City skyline from our room was so spectacular. Having stayed both here and the Howard Johnson across the street on a previous trip, I would recommend the Howard Johnson, but this is suitable if you’re looking for a cheaper rate
