We selected the hotel primarily for its location. The price was higher than we usually like for NYC hotels but we decided to splurge this time. The room was fine although a bit small. Major problem was loud noice from the HVAC system when turning on the cooling system. Very annoying.

Absolutely loved my stay. This was my first time staying in this area of the city and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean. Huge bathrooms with great lighting for getting ready. The bar/lounge was gorgeous with amazing views at night. I felt safe in the area even at 2 am coming back from the bar as a woman. Will definitely be coming back.

I have stayed at the hotel many times and also love it!! Elena, Jorge and the other staff are always incredible, kind and quick to attend to guests!! BUT we had reserved a room with 2 QUEEN beds and it was 2 DOUBLE BEDS, as three of us were traveling. It was explained to me that the hotel ONLY has double beds NOT QUEEN as it is listed. Which we need the space for my family. The description needs to be changed on the bed size to be clear.I was charged MORE for the double beds as they were advertised as Queens. Which was A MAJOR glitch in our trip to the city. Be prepared if you are expecting larger beds.. but other than that the hotel is wonderfully located, safe, clean…

The Cloud One Hotel is in a fantastic location – directly across from Ground Zero and just steps from major downtown landmarks and subway stations. It’s brand new, clean, and stylish, with a modern design that feels fresh and welcoming. The rooms are quite small, as is typical in NYC, but very well-designed and comfortable for short stays.
