Entire floor smelled like marijuana

There are signs in the hotel stating it is a non-smoking hotel. We booked it with the intent that we would be in a non-smoking hotel. Our entire floor smelled very heavily of marijuana the entire time we were there - so badly that we even stuffed towels under the door, but the smell still seeped in. We told the front desk multiple times and nothing was done about it. It would even wake us up during the night. Very poor management or customer care.

The entire hotel has tile floor. We heard the elevator, walking, talking, luggage rolling all hours of the night. The cleaning service folded our towels off the floor and put them back for reuse. Not sanitary. When toilet paper was gone we had to go find someone to get us more. To get water bottles staff had to be behind the desk(behind plexiglass/wall). When we returned from work at 10pm there was no staff to be found so we were unable to get water. The neighborhood is run down. Overall it was unpleasant and we’d never stay again.

I arrived at 5AM after a 9 hour ride on Amtrak from Virginia. I was so happy to find the hotel very well lit, clean, and the attendant was friendly. I shared my positive experience on tiktok and the video has more views than any of my other videos. This will be my goto hotel whenever I travel to my hometown, Brooklyn, NY.
