Room was clean. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was really good for a complimentary breakfast. Also enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate bar. Definitely would stay here again.

1. WiFi was not fast enough nor secure enough. Therefore could not log in to my work laptop using the hotel WiFi. 2. Shower water did not drain well. 3. Water temperature in the mornings was lukewarm , not hot enough after about 7 am. 4. Breakfast time : too packed, lines too long. 5 Long elevator waits. 6. Furniture too dated and faded; couch and seat were dirty. 7. My digital door lock was tampered with. When I returned on the third day of my stay , a piece of the digital lock was hanging off, with a white sticker over it. ( luckily I never leave valuables in my room when I’m not present) 8. The thermostat was not working ( but engineering came quickly and fixed the problem expeditiously ) I needed a hotel room with a full kitchen close to Manhattan , and this was one of the least expensive options.

The hotel is very nice and well managed. It's a good hotel in all aspects. Two things to know. First, there is huge construction site across the street. If your room facing it, expect noise starting 5 am. The hotel is close to the F train which is excellent but the 5 min walk from the station to the hotel was a bit scary. doesn't feel too safe. But nothing happened so I am not sure if it's just a feeling. Otherwise the hotel was very good and stuff was very kind.

The room was comfortable, breakfast plentiful and great, and the staff was great. The area around the property isn’t too safe and the closest subway is an eight minute walk if you walk fast. There was also extremely loud construction at 4 AM and three out of the four nights I was there.
