There was fur and blood in the bed when asked for new sheets and for the hotel staff to look at the issues with the stains and she they immediately became argumentative refused to look and threatened to kick us out.

I enjoyed my stay there. Nice location. It was obvious the rooms were updated, but the only drawback was when I first walked in was a strong cigarette smell. Kept a window open and it subsided. I assume it is in the wall paint from before. Might want to address that. The next time I visit New York I will probably stay at the same place.
