The checking in process was extremely slow. I waited 35 minutes to be helped. It was too early to get in our room which was fine; I paid the bill and was told I’d get a call when the room was ready and that never happened. Then when we did go back to the hotel I had to wait another 30 to get the key.

The front desk staff were very nice, and the place was clean, though it could be improved. The coffee wasn’t great, and it would be nice to have access to the Wi-Fi without any extra fees, especially since we’re guests.

Great location and friendly staff, but the hotel is very outdated. Only one elevator was working for access to our floor. The windows were dirty, had not been cleaned in years. There was no in-room microwave, and they left an empty minibar cabinet in the room that just took up space with no functional use. The chairs at the table were dirty and appear to have come out of the conference room. The wallpaper is peeling, the picture frames are broken, the bathroom was small, and there is black mold in the air-conditioning vent.

Misleading Charges and Poor Communication I stayed at this hotel recently, and during check-in, the staff told me that I had a $35 credit under my room number that I could use at the cafeteria or restaurant. The next morning, before checking out, I used the credit as they advised. However, after checking out, I received my statement and saw that the hotel charged my bank for the $35 instead of applying the credit as promised. When I contacted them about it, there was no clear explanation, and I was disappointed by the lack of transparency. It’s frustrating to be told one thing and charged differently. I recommend that future guests double-check any credits or offers in writing before using them.

This hotel is in a great location few blocks from Time Square and the subway. You are not able to get an elevator and have to wait for long periods of time before getting an elevator. They do not even offer Wi-Fi for the guests staying at this hotel. It is ridiculous they want to charge you for everything. In my case they even charged my credit card twice and still have not resolved the issue. The lady who checked us in the front desk was not pleasant and seemed annoyed by the guests. It was expensive to stay at this hotel so you would hope and expect better customer service from a Sheraton. I do not recommend staying at this location.
