We booked two 2-queen suites for one night, but when we arrived, the hotel only had one room ready and gave us a 1-king suite instead. That meant four adults had to share one bed. The front desk first said they’d bring out a rollaway bed to help, but later said they didn’t have any left. Two of us ended up sleeping on the floor with just some blankets and comforters. When I asked for compensation, the front desk refused, claiming the king suite was more expensive, even though prices online showed the opposite. They told me to speak with management the next morning, but when I tried, I was told there’s no management on weekends and only one person working the entire front desk. The person working then gave me the management's email to contact and still no response whatsoever. Overall, a terrible experience and terrible way to end a long day of traveling. The only redeeming factor was the breakfast.

Looks Better Online – Meh in Person The photographer who took the listing photos did a fantastic job—great lighting and editing made the property look very appealing online. While the property is mostly as advertised, it doesn't quite live up to what you'd expect from a typical Marriott-owned brand. The hallways felt more like a motel than a hotel, and the location may not be for everyone. It's right next to what seems like…public housing/Marcy Projects vibe's, so if you're comfortable with that, it might not be a concern—but it's something to be aware of. At around $159 a night, I personally didn’t feel the value matched the price. The rooms themselves were fine: sheets were crisp and clean, and the bathroom was also clean. So overall, it was a decent stay, just not what I had hoped for based on the online presentation and reviews. Also, note that the reviews on Expedia don't quite align with those on Google—definitely recommend doing your research before booking. Thanks.

We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived, the front desk staff told us we were already checked in — yet they didn’t have a room for us. They said there had been an error and that we had to leave, even though it was their mistake. Our reservation was cancelled without our consent, and no solution was offered. Completely unacceptable. We won’t be booking here again.
