In knowing how expensive NYC hotels are, and how cramped most hotels in the city are, I am pleasantly surprised at how accommodating, safe, and pleasant my stay at this hotel was. The main star of this hotel was its staff. The hotel did fall short in some ways (toilet paper, cleanliness, checked me into the wrong room), but the staff addressed all issues as close to immediate as possible. Pros: - affordable - centralized location - service-forward staff - quiet, even when you're in the middle of the city, we could not hear any street noises Cons: - minimal natural light - walk up, but the staff will bring your luggage up/down for you - not the cleanest of hotels, there were a lot of marks left on the walls from either bugs being killed or booger stickers - sealing edge of bathroom sliding door had peeled off before we got into the room In the end, this hotel was close by to everything we needed to do in Manhattan, safe, and affordable. In NY, you can pay a lot more, for a LOT WORSE, and their staff won't match that of this hotel's.

Great Stay

The staff were so friendly and the room was very tiny but clean and quaint. The only thing I didn’t like was no elevators. We had a lot of luggage and were on the 3rd floor. It took a while to climb the stairs multiple times. When we left, though, the staff helped us bring our luggage down and out to the car. It was a very good stay. When we walked out of the hotel, we were right in the middle of the city. Great location and staff. Will definitely stay there again when we return to NYC, I’ll just pack less :)

A gem of a hotel in the heart of Time Square. Extremely comfortable and clean with all needed amenities. The shower pressure and temperature were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

It was a small and simple room but clean,comfortable and adequate. No frills like a view and no elevator,but minutes from Times Square and across the street from coffee and good food and a convenience store. It wasnt noisy for as close as it was to the action. Friendly staff.

I am a "super" commuter who needed to stay for the night....and this was perfect. This hotel has only been open (new owners?) for a month-ish so my room was spotless. I was on the 5th floor and it was QUIET. Smartly designed with no frills, but clean as a whistle. Good water pressure, comfy bed, all the TV apps, wifi, coffee and tea in the basement, and darker towels (which in think is brilliant). Only thing to note...no elevator, so just be prepared for that. I hope it stays as clean and crisp as it is now in it's brand new state! Location is perfect.

This was a lovely property that I would stay at again. The only two minor down sides were that you have to walk up the stairs (we were on the 5th floor), and our TV did not work. The front desk said they didn't work when we asked about it. But other than that, bed was comfy, nice and clean, bathroom was beautiful - we really enjoyed the stay! It was a great location and close to a lot of food options and major landmarks.

Staff at this hotel lack empathy and basic customer service. Expedia should remove this hotel from their website. The hotel ruined my trip and resulted in my family having to incur expenses due to the hotels error.

Great location, but extremely disappointing. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the shower drainage was poor, and there was no door—resulting in a flooded bathroom after every shower. Despite requesting housekeeping, the room wasn’t cleaned. Extra towels were delayed and only arrived after a second request. It was nothing like the photos or reviews. Would not recommend.
