I love this hotel. Great location. Mostly nice staff - I will say there are a couple team members who are rude... like the one at the front desk when I checked in. The hotel amenities are great. The hotel has a fitness center, water machine to refill bottles, and comfortable lobby to sit in. It's just steps from the 30 Ave train The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and clean. Many rooms overlook a subway station and part of the Manhattan skyline. The top of the JP Morgan Chase building can even be seen from the hotel room windows. The room amenities are great - hair dryer, mini fridge/cooler, wireless charging pads. The toilet and shower close off from the sink so someone can be using the sink while someone else is using the toilet or showering with the door closed. The bed is also extremely comfortable. I would just recommend getting firmer pillows because the ones here are so soft. All in all I have stayed here twice and would choose staying here over staying in Manhattan. It's more peaceful while also being just about 4-5 stops train from Manhattan. Airports are easily accessible via busses, subway, or of course private ride.

My previous review of this hotel was less than stellar, but the staff, and more specifically, Henry, their general manager, made sure that I had a good experience. It was very nice of him to give me a phone call and ask how I was. The facilities are new, the queen-size bed is clean and comfortable. The towels are new and fluffy. Having a complimentary breakfast was nice, even if there was some initial confusion about whether it was included in the rate. A few drawbacks—a very small room (I stayed in a “grand” room, but it was tight), no microwave, the Lavazza machine only made espresso and “lungo,” but not the regular drip coffee that one (I, at least) would usually want in the morning. The room overlooks the noisy elevated train, the mini-split makes the room too hot even if set at seventy degrees (the receptionist suggested that I turn it off, and it was a sound piece of advice). The neighborhood is nothing special. The trains (N, the Broadway express, and W, the Broadway local) run often and take one into Manhattan in 15-20 minutes, far preferable to taking an Uber, which would take longer and be far more expensive. Overall, not five stars but solid four.

This hotel is everything. It's in a great area, staff is nice, location is convenient. The neighborhood is a comfortable area to walk around in. It's just steps away from the train station so you can be in Manhattan or on your way to another borough easily. The room is so comfortable and cozy. I will be considerate of those who are light sleepers and say city view rooms overlook a train station - so it's not ideal for those who are easily awoken by any noise. There's a restaurant right downstairs and plenty of dining options nearby - which is convenient.
