The room was fine but we paid £20 extra for breakfast. We asked for cups and milk yeah well, that’s not the pay for the breakfast and were given cardboard cups and a four pint plastic milk container plonked on reception. We asked for hot breakfast. After 15 mins someone came out and asked if we wanted baked beans. Which we refused as it had taken a long time already. We were each presented an untidy plate with. One sausage, one piece of bacon. Scrambled eggs. A hash brown that was not cooked ( frozen) and a roll. Plus we were sat at an uneven table in what I can only describe as a corridor. We have never had a breakfast so bad. To anyone who stays there please do not bother.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was not made or cleaned. Had to exchange towels myself. Arranged breakfast for 9am next morning but then when I came down it was made for 8am and my wife couldn't eat hers due to meat being put in the sandwich despite it being specified that only egg should be there. Address is wrong since entrance is a different road and hard to find. Also no contact phone number for the hotel. Despite these faults the place is nice and clean and the staff are wonderful.

Great night's sleep

Just an overnight stay before dropping iff our son at Newcastle Uni digs. Ample free parking. A very friendly and helpful receptionist. From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep.

Very basic hotel, similar to a Premier Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the outside area was dirty with lots of rubbish, which really let it down. Served its purpose for two nights for a wedding locally, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
