Lovely stay with young family.
The only small things was the lack of options for continental breakfast. Sone items were missing and not replenished during breakfast service.
However the staff were attentive and pleasant throughout our stay.
We booked for 2 adults and a child under 1 (as this was the only option to select for a baby 5 months old) and therefore required a cot and wasn’t provided with one, the room we had was a double with a sofa bed and therefore not even room for a cot, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable waking up with sore backs, within the hotel they advised that kids eat and stay for free and when booking this room it added on £20 when putting our baby on the booking, when we wanted to amend the booking to add an extra night the lady at the holiday inn was very helpful but on going onto hotels.com to amend the booking it wouldn’t let me because the same room we’d booked wasn’t available but on going to book it separately it had the same room available, so ended up having to book elsewhere but it was cheaper.
Well located for my needs. Staff were extremely friendly, good amenities. Good food choice and food was really good. Had breakfast and evening meals
Had a premium room, was very cosy and tidy and comfortable. Will definitely use again
I had a small room in which the heating was locked on full. Despite asking for a change of room or the heating to be turned off the staff weren’t able to sort.

Good place to stay but need improvement
Overall good place to stay. But I believe they need some renovation (carpet etc) , and rooms are not that clean as seen in the pic.

Complaint Regarding Our Recent Stay
Our experience was significantly impacted by noise disturbances during the night, which impacted my daughter’s performance at an important sport event. In addition to the excessive noise caused by a wedding during the night, at 5am, the guests at the room next to us became very loud, with continuous screaming and laughter. Despite my call to the reception, where I was assured that the situation would be addressed, the noise persisted until 6:15am. We travelled from Reading for my daughter’s performance at the sports event, and the lack of sleep due to these disturbances severely affected her ability to perform well. This issue was not adequately addressed by the manager when I raised a complaint. I would appreciate your attention to this matter and I look forward to seeing how you can rectify this situation.
