The only slight problem I had was went too have a shower at 5pm and there was no hot water.
First time stopping here so it may be a one off and it certainly won’t stop me from going again.
Everything else was very good.
The hotel is lovely but the breakfast is expensive for what you get. It’s also not organised very well so while I would stay again, I wouldn’t add on the breakfast.
Please turn on the coolant for the air-conditioning. I appreciate it costs money, but for the past year, even in summer, the a/c simple blow air through them. I’ve stayed several times so it’s not an issue with a particular room. The rooms are stifling without cooled air in the a/c!
A friendly welcome and good service,
Room was small but clean and adequate for a short stay on my own. A little small for two though. Bathroom and shower fine and can’t fault cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Unusual to have no draught beer at the bar but the bottle I chose was decent.
Didn’t opt for breakfast but it looked nice when I checked out.
I only stayed one night but a good, central location.
Wasn’t a great deal happening and lots of the bars were empty, (understandable for a Monday in February). Lots of chain restaurants around and it’d be worth doing some research if you’re staying and thinking of eating out.
The nearest car park was shut so had a bit of a mystery tour trying to navigate the various one way streets and bus lanes but eventually got on an NCP about 10 mins walk from the hotel.

Great value
Great value hotel in a very central (but quiet) location just off Grey Street. I ahve stayed her 4 tims but in this occasion the room was far too hot, even with the window open, and there seemed to be no way to turn the heat down
The hotel is in a great location very central next to lots of great bars, the reception area and bar looks very nice and modern. The corridors aren’t the nicest, looks like a hospital, the rooms weren’t as nice as the photos made them out to be. The bed was massive and comfy but my bottom sheet had stains on it, the shower didn’t have working temperature control it was boiling hot and couldn’t get it any colder, my mum was in the room next to mine and her shower was freezing and she couldn’t get it any warmer. The soap for the shower isn’t attached to the wall it is just balancing on the tap for the shower. Only 3 coat hangers, no mirror infront of the vanity table and lack of plugs. Rooms could do with a freshen up their was marks on the wall and we were on the bottom floor so had people walking eye level with our room window. We weren’t asked about our stay when we checked out just a thank you bye. Overall for the price and the location I would stay again I just wouldn’t go with high expectations which I did this time as it was my first time staying in a motel one and the reception and photos made it look really nice.
We stayed one night so we could see a show at the Theatre Royal, which is literally a three minute walk around the corner from the hotel.
The hotel is situated close to lots of bars and restaurants.
We found it to be very clean, comfortable, and good value for money. We had a good nights sleep in a very nice large comfy bed.
We didn’t have breakfast, as it was only continental. However, there are plenty of places nearby where you can grab something more substantial if you want to.
