BDAY stay in Newport

We had a great stay. Rich and Sandy were responsive to questions and let us know that they were there if we needed ANYTHING. The place is beautiful. It is a back unit, but the rooftop was great. There is everything you need there and the unit is modern and pretty at the same time. We had an excellent stay.

Good for the reason we were there.

We stayed here for a staycation (only 2 nights); we live 25 minutes away. The emails prior to us showing up was off putting as we were told that ABSOLUTLY NO EXTRA PEOPLE without paying. We're in our mid-50's and capable of a responsible stay. It was somewhat offensive. At check in we HAD to meet up with Richard and he toured us into the property, which again felt over kill. That said, it was find but unusual. There is not iron/steamer, so I had to use the hair dryer to try to get the wrinkles out of my dress for dinner. The shower head downstairs leaked so bad, we couldn't shower there (no pressure). We didn't notify Richard mostly because we just wanted to be left alone. The upstairs rain shower had little to no pressure, but didn't leak. Couldn't figure out "how" operate the microwave? Never found a pen throughout the place. Neighbors were loud and rude about parking in the alley. No curtains on windows directly outside of primary bedroom. But what was worst, the light outside in the stairwell stayed on. Had to shut primary door in order to sleep. All in all the place was fine/average. No frills. Bed and couch were standard - again no frills. We won't stay again as we can get something better suited for the amount of money we paid.
