The hardest part of this reservation was getting it clear on what needed to do after was booked on Hotels.com.  The booking on Hotels.com stated I would rec an email & needed to complete a form.  Waited for hr no email, called Hotels.com, they called the office and was told the email was sent.  I waiting another 1/2 hr, no email.  I called the place direct as this was a Vac Apt rental.  The person I talked to said they were processing it and i would see in an hr.  I had some errands to do and thought when i got back i would have email.  2 hrs later no email, called the place talked to a different person who explained her other colleague did not process.  She would help me, this was good, I recd the email and contained a secure doc to complete, sent that back.  Needed a copy of ID and credit card, sent that.  She stated i would rec an email with a guest packet with code and inst.  Later recd an email with a code no packet attached.  Called back, talked to someone different, they sent the packet which was a 1 page PDF with instructions and rules.  Got to the place located lock box which i was not told where this was, opened up place, it had a terrible smell to it.  Then i wanted to open garage to park car,  no remote,called place and was told they would call back after talking to cleaner.  Meanwhile opened garage from inside & came in.  Recd call back & was told there was no remote available.  Noted place was cleaned ok, the condition of beds and furniture were definately used
