Charming Apartment in port of Nice, Nice

Ideally located in the heart of Nice in the Port district. Our condo is on 2nd floor 1/2 of a very peaceful "Niçoise house"; it has been completely renovated in March 2013. Very bright, with it's South orientation, you will appreciate the view on the port/sea (photo) and the proximity of the front side.
This flat is well distributed with an "american kitchen" and a nice bedroom associated to the bathroom (shower). Designed for two to four people maximum, you will appreciate the air-conditionned comfort of the living room (large sofa/bed in 160 cms), the complete kitchen amenities and the tastefully decoration. TV/DVD/internet.
This flat is ideally located to let your car in a parking since it is close to the heart of the old city (Vieille-Ville), close to the beaches (300 m), close to food-shops and restaurants (50 m).
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, which features a fireplace. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a phone, as well as a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Excellent stay

A super flat in quiet area. Exactly as detailed in description. We stayed for a month and Jordi was kind and helpful. Complete linen change twice during the stay. Jordi was easy to communicate with and the meeting and greeting was excellent He demonstrated how all kitchen gadgets worked and showed us where the excellent local supermarket and boulangerie were - all within 5 minutes walk. Jordi is an outstanding host and we recommend his flat without reservation hoping to return in the future.

Incredible stay!

This apartment was truly stunning. The photos don’t even do it justice. The view of the sea, the location, and amenities nearby are all amazing. Jordi is an excellent host - extremely communicative, attentive, and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice by the Sea

Great location- close to shopping, the "Old Village" and to the sea. Local transit makes it easy to get around the city and out lying cities. Our host, Jordi, was very helpful and a wonderful ambassador for the city of Nice and the surrounding area.

Cycling holiday on the Côte d'Azur

First we have to say that Mr. Jordi was a perfect host. Communication over the Internet was efficient and in person we have met a very nice man that spoke perfectly English. He was well prepared with all the information that we would eventually need (about the apartment, public transport, restaurants, cycling routes....). The apartment is located in Nice Port in 2. flour. It's a bit quieter than in Centre of Nice but not to quiet. There are a few good restaurants in the neighbourhood and late afternoon or evening walks with watching the "rich and famous" yachts are also interesting. It's a 15 min walk to the old Nice (and till 19.00 there's a little boat free of charge that brings you on the other side of the harbour). The apartment is very well equipped and allows you to feel comfortable as if you are at home. And for cyclists we have to say that this is a perfect location. In 10 minutes ride you are out of the centre on non-busy roads and you can cycle through many hilly villages, or on panoramic roads. And at the end of the ride you can stop on an espresso at a stylish shop/bar Cafe du cycliste that is just around the corner. We could store our road bicycles in the apartment (there is no elevator and the staircase is quite narrow) and wash our clothes in the washing machine (that's a great bonus). All in all we can say that we have had a very nice stay where we could feel as at home (but better as we were on our holiday). M&G

Beautiful apartment

While we are familiar with Nice, this was our first time staying in The Port area and Jordi couldn’t have been a better host. Our incoming flight was delayed but Jordi still met us and gave us “the grand tour” The apartment has all mod cons, is bright, nicely designed and very spacious and is beautifully located in a quiet location with supermarket and restaurants nearby. It even has a sea view and we were afforded views, from the apartment, of berthing cruise liners and the Corsica Ferry on a regular basis. The shoreline walks and port area are splendid and not overcrowded, which suited us perfectly. All in all, a wonderful stay and very good value Justin and Olive Ireland

Lovely apartment, not fancy but has everything you need. Small view of the sea with lots of boat activity, fabulous area close to the port, owner very congenial. We stayed 5 weeks to do a French course and highly recommend this apartment.

A jewel in Nice Port.

We stayed for 1 week in this wonderful apartment and of course could have stayed much longer! It is so comfortable and we felt at home in it right away! It is well equipped and just perfect for two people. The view down to the harbour from the window is calm, tranquil and a delight each morning. The location is super too as everything is so close including many excellent restaurants. We especially enjoyed Glouphile winebar and Les Agitatueur on Rue Bonaparte. We loved La Vigna overlooking the port, superb food and fantastic views. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks each day along Promenade des Anglais which was just 10 mins from the apartment! To add to all this Jordi was a great host meeting us on arrival and always in touch throughout our stay! Merci beaucoup Jordi, a bientot!

A Comfortable and relaxing base Camp

My friend and i were impressed with the quality of the apartment. Clean, Comfortable, everything we needed for a pleasant "base Camp" from which to explore the area, being only 5 minutes walk from the Harbor. Jordi was not only prompt to greet us, but was particularly pleasant, very helpful and Informative, and spoke very good English, and we immediately felt at home. blessed with good weather, and plenty of sight seeing, the apartment was welcoming after a good day`s walking, and was Close to a useful small supermarket and places to eat, whilst old town Nice was a pleasant 20 minute stroll. would thoroughly recommend the apartment for similar adventurers, and thank Jordi for his kind hospitality.

Great Location!

We SO enjoyed our stay in Nice! Jordi was a very hospitable host! This apartment is in a great neighborhood, within easy walking distance to the old city and the beach. There are markets and restaurants very close. The location was also very good for the day trips that we had planned. It was a pleasure to look out at the sea every morning! This place was clean and perfect for two people. I highly recommend this apartment in Nice!

Wonderful apartment at the port of Nice

This is a charming apartment on a quiet street, located just a few steps away from cliffs overlooking the sea, excellent cafes, and convenient public transportation to the center of Nice. The apartment is light and airy, with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The owner Jordi is friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this apartment and will stay here again whenever I am in the Nice area.

Das franz. Bett....

Das Bett war für uns die "größte Herausforderung". Wir hatten die Anzeige nicht explizit darauf gelesen/untersucht. Zumindest sind wir JETZT schlauer :-) ! Ca. 1,30 m Breite mit einer Bettdecke (ja ich weiß, franz. Modell) und ca. 1,80 Länge war das Bett für uns so, dass immer die Füße deutl. unten rausgeschaut haben. Das mag im hießen Sommer angenehm sein..., jetzt im Feb. hat es "irritiert". Trotzdem war unser Urlaub dort und in der Wohnung ein Genuss. Dieser Kommentar soll als reelle Anmerkung zu verstehen sein.

Für kürzere Aufenthalte gut

Lage der Unterkunft absolut top, sowohl verkehrstechnisch als auch infrastruktur mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in nächster Nähe. Trotz dieser Lage liegt die Unterkunft ruhig aber zu beachten ist, dass bei bestimmter Windrichtung in der Flugschneise und da kann mannschon dem Piloten zuwinken. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Schlimmer fanden wir, dass die Wohnung sehr hellhörig ist und vom oberen Appartement jeder Schritt zu hören, mit Frühaufstehern, also jeden Tag start zwischen 5 und 6 Uhr... das war für 4 Nächte so. Bett im Schlafzimmer für 2 Erwachsene sehr eng, Matratze usw. ist sehr individuell, unsere war sie nicht. Über Sauberkeit urteilen wir nicht, auch in diesem Bereich liegen die Standards unterschiedlich und doch recht individuell. Alles in einem würde ich die Empfehlung für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt aussprechen, für uns wäre es für einen Haupturlaub nicht. Kommunikation mit Vermieter hervorragend, Danke!
