The property was that of a typical big chain hotel. The staff was extremely nice but while we were there, the air conditioning unit broke and for one night our room was hot. Our floor was ok the next day but the unit that cools the lobby was still not working and it was very hot, so you couldn’t sit and relax in the lobby comfortably.

Very nice communal areas, and the reception, restaurant and bar staff were great. I’d like to also mention the excellent service we had with our baggage, and it’s a shame we didn’t get to say thanks to the guy who helped us before we left! In terms of the room, it was very nice although the bathroom was a little dated. It would have been better if we had a shower instead of just one big bath. More air conditioning in the bedroom would have been good too.

The room was filthy, bed/linens unsanitary and gross, the bathroom gross, the closet door falling off, the safe locked. Asked the front desk and he told me We are full you have to wait. Brought him pictures and he didn’t care. I had to sleep there because it was midnight. Wrote to manager and he didn’t respond. Called and placed a complaint and nobody has called me back. The next day I moved rooms but they didn’t give me a credit or an apology

My room was large and clean. There are many restaurants nearby as is the train station. Julia at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately Nice has many pickpockets. Be careful. I was pickpocketed on a crowded train
