Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III has a rectangular shape and overlooks the Church of Santa Maria d'Itria and the Church of the Addolorata, as well as the Palazzo di Città. From the belvedere of the town it is also possible to have a magnificent view of the Gela plain and the valley of the Maroglio river. Nearby there are also archaeological sites and natural areas such as the Sughereta di Niscemi, recognized as a communitarian interest by the European Union.
