Excellent hotel, but connected to monstrous resort

This place is fantastic - new, large rooms, extra features like washer and dryer and dishwasher. Only problem: The monstrous old resort next door made for mass tourism and endless tour buses hauling in thousands of guests. The two properties are connected but couldn’t be more different. They don’t fit to each other at all. The “town” itself has two convenience stores, that’s it. But the actual hotel itself is very, very nice. No restaurants in the hotel though, only next door at the resort (mass food).

Amazing rooms. No issues with cleanliness. Had a dishwasher and laundry machine. Hotel staff even had a driving service to drive us to nearby stores/restaurants. I would come here again even if I didn't ski.

Truly enjoyed this property. The staff George, Liam and Yvonne were outstanding. Each displaying the highest form of professionalism for their roles! Staff were all kind. Beautiful room, but... only one electrical outlet in kitchen, so had to keep unplugging the coffee maker to plug in the tea kettle, what a horrible design! beautiful views from the window. Comfortable beds. Front desk staff was fantastic! Food was expensive. Easy in and out to skiing

Really really nice room. The Ski in only applies to west mountain which you have to take the nearest lift to use which is a REALLY short run designed for learning or beginnners. The Ski out does go to this lift… but if you’re not just learning it’s not somewhere you want to spend your day. If you’re planning on spending most time at East or Isola, it does take some time to get over there via walk and gondola (25 mins or so assuming no lines).

Very nice hotel/condo. Convenient to the slopes, on site onsen was very clean and easy to access. Bit of a walk to dinning options, but nice in room pizza and a small cafe near by. Included ski lockers was really helpful. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would strongly recommend
