The property is pretty old and run down. The breakfast was actually pretty good, so overall pretty good value for the money. The location was kind of awful, pretty ugly neighborhood.
This is a great hotel if you are touring this part of Italy as ideally situated closed to the motorway and hence to the major towns of the area. It's a medium sized family run hotel with really friendly staff, a pleasant swimming pool - and drinks served pool-side! The rooms are comfortable, clean but not luxurious. However, we did sleep well.
Breakfast was fresh and quite a wide range of food.
We were there for six nights and eat most nights at the excellent Trattoria just across the road (Al Ponte) which we highly recommend.
The village is not a tourist attraction but no problem with a car, or if passing through.
Excellent Service. I was highly impressed by the level of dedication shown by all the staff throughout my stay: polite and extremely professional. The room was in immaculate condition and the overall hotel's lay out was perfectly put together. You could hardly depict any imperfection. I must also thank them for saving their lovely ham, yogurt and fruits on a morning basis even if I was showing (very) late for breakfast! Highly recommended!
Very traditional looking with beautiful mosaic tiles and facade of building, yet fairly modern inside. We loved the pool, breakfast was good but you need to be there early as they didn't replenish eggs. It wasn't easy to find without a GPS but most of Italy has poor signage anyways. We would rate it higher if the bed was better otherwise the place was near perfect. There are a few restaurants in the small village...the white building across the road called trattoria on the side was wonderful...melt in your mouth gnocchi and tortellini....saw many locals there.
A very clean, beautiful and comfortable room. Delicious breakfast with a huge variety of food. Quiet neighbourhood but still close to the Alps, Verona and only an hour away from Venice. Always clean room with a spacious and very nicely decorated bathroom. Very friendly staff, especially on our last day when we had to leave the hotel at 6am and breakfast was made for us at 5:30. Outside a nice pool (shame we couldn't use it, as in April the water was a little bit cold:)).
It was a real home away from home! Absolutely recommend it!
Nice hotel but about an hour on the bus out of the city of Verona, in a quiet industrial town, not great public transport links as only two buses a day to Verona' ie around 7am or around 1pm and no trains there
Only stayed one night, little further out of verona as expected at about 20 minutes , but the hotel was clean , quite, staff friendly and the breakfast good , could stay there again no problem
A great find on our trip, just off the motorway, the staff could not be more helpful, quite and peaceful place. Had dinner at a restaurant across the road, which was very good.Would recommend to anyone travel and needed a stopover for one night.
We stopped here while en route by car from Venice to Milan. The hotel is in a small beautifully restored building with lovely details like open wood beams in the ceiling of our room. The service was highly efficient and friendly, breakfast perfect and the room in like new condition with the most comfortable bed I've slept in recently at a hotel. Even the wifi internet worked perfectly. Free secure parking in front of the hotel just completes a perfect package. Highly recommended and we'll be back!
Everything was excellent. It is not a luxury hotel, but one that is renovated, clean, and friendly. The swimming pool was a nice bonus. It helps to have a car -- and is about 20 minutes (by autoroute) from Verona. For those with cars who want good value near Verona, it is recommended highly.
The hotel was handy for the autostrada to get into Verona and up to Lake Garda, which were the places we particularly wanted to go to. It was very quiet when we visited (over Easter) with very few guests, which was pehaps just as well because the walls were very thin and we could hear the other guests. There was plenty of room in the bedroom with a very large and comfortable bed. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. The shower was very powerful, albeit a little small, the bathroom itself though was large and roomy. There was a safe in the room, however, we couldn't use it as the hotel didn't have any spare batteries to enable it. The breakfast was continental (to be expected!) with a decent range of food on offer. Italian friends were amused and couldn't understand why we wanted to stay in Nogarole Rocca as to them it is just an exit off the autostrada, however, it suited our purposes very well. Attached is a view from our room at the front of the hotel.
Welcoming hotel with friendly helpful staff. Excellant breakfast with plenty of choice. The building was full of character with all the modern amenities.Nice outside area to just sit and relax or swim. Handy bar opposite also with friendly staff.
Lovely hotel, ideally situated for visiting Verona and the lakes. Friendly staff, good breakfast and very clean.
Although no restaurant in the hotel, there is a very good one just across the road, as well as a Pizzeria and cofffee shop.
The surrounding area is not particularly smart but the hotel is well kept with a nice outside sitting area and a lovely pool.
Would definitely recommend staying here as reasonably priced, nice and quiet
and ideally situated for visiting all the attractions of the Veneto.
Renovated farm house , in small village. Spacious room, very clean- Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to Verona. Good restaurant close by.
ok for overnight stop, a little bit too far from Verona if thats your sightseeing destination. Good trattoria opposite

"Useful Hotel to know"
This hotel was difficult to notice from the road as the hotel sign was small and
set by the reception enterance.
However we were met with a warm friendly greeting and shown to our room,
We requested a coffee white with sugar, this arrived 15minutes later was not too hot and black.!!
The only down side on our room was the ambient lighting. nice for relaxing,
but useless for route planning or reading other than in bed.
That aside the room was a nice size overlooking the gardens and entrance,
large oak beams and comfortable bed. The bathroom was refurbised to a high standard and spacious.
Breakfast was excellent and a good choice of food.
If passing that way again would certainly use this hotel again as excellent value for money
This hotel is in a smaller village but is central to travelling to Verona, Lake Garda and it is just over an hour drive to Venice. The staff are the most helpful and friendly we experienced in Italy. Initially we had a problem with the airconditioning and it was rectified immediately. The rooms are large and very comfortable. There are outide sitting areas.
