Cozy Cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Nordegg, Alberta

We opened Nature's Getaway Nordegg in November 2021! A peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home, and some special touches that let you appreciate nature to the fullest. Snuggle up with a book near the fireplace or sit out on the deck with nothing but the sounds of nature all around you, or explore and have an outdoor adventure! This tranquil cabin will remind you of what is really important in life and allow you to reconnect. Comfort, peace and relaxation are the hallmarks of this cabin!
There is also a second cabin, The Quiet Deer Cabin available at Nature's Getaway, as well. Perfect for a larger family getaway!
Make yourself comfortable in this cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as a hot tub or take in the view from a garden.

We had an absolutely incredible stay - this place exceeded all of our expectations. The home itself is beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a getaway with friends. We stayed with two other couples, and it couldn’t have been a better fit for our group.One of the highlights was meeting Jerry and Boomer while out on a short hike around the property, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It really added a personal touch to the whole experience. We also spent an evening in the cookhouse, which was such a unique feature—rustic, cozy, and a perfect spot to relax, share a meal, and hang out together.Tanya was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. She made everything seamless and ensured we felt welcome right from the moment we arrived.This weekend was exactly what we were hoping for—peaceful, refreshing, and a great chance to connect and unwind. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that our group (and my wife and I) are already talking about making this a yearly tradition.We truly felt at home here and can’t say enough good things about the property or the hosts. We will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!

Great Trail Riding weekend!

We truly enjoyed the weekend here. It was very peaceful, the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The trails were very close by, we could take the ATV’s right from the house to the trails when we wanted. Another highlight was the outdoor kitchen and fire pit. We would definitely recommend this place!

Cozy Cabin

Overall this cabin and property is pretty spectacular. I’d highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The common area behind the cabins is huge and there is a trail back to Shanda Creek. Everything was there and more hot tub, bbq, outdoor propane and wood fireplaces, horse shoes. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Check in at this property is 4pm.

Oasis in the mountains

Our group of four had a lovely stay in this perfect setting, forest all around us, sunshine through the trees and all the comforts of home in our spacious cabin. Not a detail was missed and the kitchen had everything. The large deck included a deck fire pit table, large hot tub, barbecue and many seating options. A perfect get-away!

This property was beautiful and the cabin cozy ! Unfortunately with the cost associated, the unrealistic expectations of the hosts, lack of privacy and overall cleaniness being subpar it made for a very difficult stay!! Overall not a great experience, renters beware!!

My parents, my brother and his wife and my family of 4 stayed in this lovely cabin. Beautiful space to relax and visit both inside and out. Many fun lawn games to play, beautiful cool house. Close to so many beautiful hikes.

Canadian Rockies Family Vacation

We loved our 4-night stay in Nordegg! We started in Calgary for 5 nights — Stampede!! After visiting Calgary, we wanted a place that we could drive to Jasper, and my husband found this hidden treasure in Nordegg! It’s a beautiful drive! We also golfed at the 100 year old golf course in Nordegg and some of us rode electric bikes all around the beautiful trails! Tanya and Jerry were wonderful hosts and helped us quickly with all of our needs! We would definitely recommend this VRBO! From here, we are going to Banff, Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Canmore and whatever else we can see in these beautiful Canadian Rockies!!
