Valet parking is expensive. Consider the $45 dollar a night charge. Overall the Omni was nice, the steakhouse and the convenience to the mall was great. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant Camille’s not too far away that we took an uber to. The buffet is not too great and over priced. The heat in the room was not working, we had to call many times as cold air was blowing out and maintenance would come out and never fix the problem. We made the best of it despite some of the surprises/inconveniences.

Overall, this was a good stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and had a view of downtown. The convenience of taking the walkway to Providence Place was very helpful and our dining experience Fleming’s was fantastic. Valet parking was super convenient considering it dropped to the mid 20’s in temperature. Where it fell short: The room seemed a bit dated, with faded wallpaper peeling in the corners and chips of paint missing on the ceiling. The bathroom was very spacious, but the toilet kept belching out water in a loud gurgling noise every 10 minutes or so, and left water on the floor. There is quite a bit of dirty, tired carpeting in the building, including our room. The staff at Fleur became rude once the bill was paid (and it was not free breakfast as listed in the Expedia package). All in all, it was a good stay, but could have been better. Will be interested in staying again.

The location is extremely convenient. However when we used our water, brown water came out. When we complained at the lobby, we were told that they had worked on the pipes and we should run the water. I asked for a room on a different floor but was told there were no rooms. They did not seem to think brown water was that big of a deal!

Staff is wonderful at the Omni! We were just there one night to look at colleges before going to Boston for Thanksgiving, but the staff were amazing! The bathrooms don’t have a fan, so the humidity is making the paint and wallpaper peel a little and some areas are rusting. And the shower didn’t drain well, so the bathrooms could use some work, but it was very clean.
